An Intel® Pentium® D 920, the current champion in the value arena just above an Intel® Pentium® D 805 is pitted against the contender, seated at lowest end of the line. Both of these processors is the lowest end, so it should be interesting to see how the two performs.

For sure, the performance gain is highly noticeable. The clock frequency between the two processor is not so much of a factor anymore.
